Founded in the spring of 1999, Tangled Up In Blue has become UW-Madison’s premiere women’s a cappella ensemble. Every year, about fifteen enthusiastic female vocalists work together to create music that is truly and uniquely their own. For over ten years, Tangled Up In Blue has performed at Madison-area benefit concerts, high school assemblies, numerous holiday parties as well as for an assortment of campus organizations. TUIB generally performs one large concert every semester, which have been held at the Memorial Union and at the Orpheum Theater in the past. In December 2009, Tangled Up In Blue released their fourth official CD entitled Grounded.
